Terrible smell, OK basic shampoo

I really wanted to like this product, however the strong chemical smell is so horrible I'm nearly unable to use it all. I bought it for clarifying my hair since it contains sodium lauryl sulfate and it works OK for that. Even though it is labeled for dry hair it is too hash for me to use for every wash. Not going to buy this again, since the smell is unbearable and there are much milder and better shampoos out there! I'm going to use the remaining product as hand soap, not as shampoo.
