Description
The colour blend is ideal for conjuring up mahogany nuances on light brown hair (60-120 minutes). On medium brown hair, it provides aubergine hues (60-120 minutes). It offers low coverage on white hair and requires a double dyeing process: we recommend a first step with the cherry red colour blend (40-60 minutes) and a second with this colour blend (60-120 minutes) immediately after rinsing. The final result can only be seen a few hours after drying the hair.
Application:
- Mix the required amount of powder with hot water until a paste, that is not too thick, is formed.
- Add 2 tablespoons of baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) to 100 g of colour blend.
- Apply the mixture liberally to clean, towel-dried hair.
- Cover the hair with cling film and leave it on for 60-120 minutes - depending on the desired colour outcome.
- After the exposure time, rinse the hair thoroughly. Do not use shampoo - we recommend using the Shikakai & Lavender Co-Wash instead.
- Dry your hair as usual.

Washes off immediately
I followed the instructions, my hair was pre-coloured with Radico's Dark Ash Blonde. After two hours of having this mixture on and washing my hair with water only, my hair was black with some very faint violet hues (but no violet reflections in the sun). The first time I used a regular natural shampoo, this black colur washed off completely, my hair was again the colour I had before. No signs of black, no signs of violet after just one shampooing. So if your plan is to dye your hair black for one occasion only...
