Greasy and not pigmented enough
I bought the 506 Mauve pencil, it is a very soft 90's brown red, there is nothing mauve-ish about it. While I like the subtle colour, it is just a lip balm, not a lipstick. The colour stays longer on lips than, for example, with the pigmented Hurraw lipbalms, but you cannot layer the product. I do not find the balm nourishing, it is just very greasy and the addition of kaolin clay actually dehydrates the lips - what on earth were they thinking? I cannot imagine wearing this in the warmer months. I am not a fan of the vanilla aroma either. It could have been a great lip product, but as it is, it leaves much to be desired.
