Description
This soap has a high bay leaf oil content (40%) which lends it its nourishing properties and clarifying character. In order to maintain the high quality, olive and bay leaf oils are distilled in a traditional manufacturing process in a copper cauldron and air-dried for 9 months. The natural Aleppo soap is rich in vitamins, fatty acids and antioxidants that respect the balance of the skin, including that of sensitive, dry and oily skin types.
Application:
- Apply directly to wet skin or with the help of a cleansing mitt. Alternatively, form a lather using a sisal ball.
- Rinse well.
- The soap can be used as a clarifying face mask or make-up remover.
- Doubles as an intimate cleanser.
Tip: Store the soap in a linen cupboard to keep moths at bay.

I love it!
I use this 1 soap to wash my face and my body. It has a high laurel oil content which makes it suitable as an all over cleanser. You can also use it to wash your hair, but unfortunately my scalp doesn’t love any type of soaps or even shampoo bars…I use silk mittens to lather it up and wash myself with. It leaves my skin super soft. I apply homemade body lotion every now and again but mostly in winter or when I was in the sun. I don't do it every day and my skin has never felt softer. I think it’s because of this soap. It doesn’t strip the skin of its natural moisture. That goes for my face as well. I love the simplicity of my beauty routine nowadays …the only thing I don’t like about it, is a hole drilled in the middle and a polyester ribbon pulled through it. I never use it and I don’t imagine many people will and there’s just no need for this lovely soap not to be zero waste.
