Description
The Biopark sesame oil is an excellent emollient and moisturizing cream for the skin and hair. When it is diluted with other carrier oils it is well-suited as a massage oil.
In India, it is tradionally used to maasage the feet. Sesame oil serves as skin nutrition as is suitable for dry skin types. It helps skin appear youthful and protects against the damaging effects of teh sun. Should be avoided by individuals with nut allergies.
Description: Cold pressed from sesame seeds. It is light brown in color and has a very distinct aroma. It has the potential of overpowering other scents. Sesame is slightly thicker than typical carrier oils. It will not stain nor leave an oily residue on the skin.
Valuable components: Sesame oil is rich in vitamins E and B6, and in minerals such as calcium, magnesium and phosphorus. It is rich in antioxidants and polyunsaturated fatty acids – mostly linoleic and oleic, but also palmitic and stearic.
Facial care: Apply a small amount of the oil on cleansed skin which was previously moisturized with a toner or hydrosol.
Body care: After bathing or showering, apply to moist skin and massage in. You can add a few drops of your favorite essential oil into the bottle for massaging.
Hair care: Apply to dry hair and massage well into the scalp. Leave on for a few hours or overnight, then wash hair with a natural shampoo.
