True Friends of Natural and Organic Cosmetics
NaTrue is an international, non-profit organisation devoted to natural and organic cosmetics. The aim is to promote and protect natural and organic cosmetics - from the phenomenon of greenwashing.
NaTrue consists of a team that advocates for an official definition of the terms "natural" and "organic" in the context of cosmetics and has two levels of certification:
- natural
- organic: at least 95% of the ingredients stem from controlled organic farming
The seal of approval guarantees:
- gentle manufacturing methods
- highest possible percentage of natural and organic ingredients
- eco-friendly practices
- no synthetic fragrances or dyes
- no ingredients derived from petrochemistry (paraffin, PEG, propylene, alkyl, etc.), silicone oils or their derivatives
- no genetically modified ingredients (based on EU regulations)
- no radiation of the end products or plant-based ingredients
- no animal testing
