I would like to say how satisfied I am with this product. I am fan of natural make up with natural pure ingredients.
That's why I was very happy when I found this foundation with squalene last year that also helped my oily skin be pure despite using tonet foundation. Since then I'm always using it. I also feel safe because this product doesn't contain titanium dioxide of any other harmful chemical parts.
I use Shade 4 during winter and Shade 5 during summer.

You have to apply this with your fingers - a makeup brush makes it streaky. It’s also quite light in coverage

I love this make up. I have mild acne (some days worse than others) and it covers pretty well. You don't see alot of the make up , so light and almost invisible. Best foundation ever. I tried so many foundations from liquid to powder and cremes and nothing did such a great job like this one. You dont need much, a little goes a long way! I used shade 5. I have light to medium skin with warm undertones. I think number 4 was also a great match but summer is coming so nr 5 was a great choice! For application I use a buffer brush and than I use at the end the beautyblender. The make up stays pretty long on my face. I think at least for 8 hours. I am really impressed! Worth the money!!

So I’ve been buying 100% pure products over the years and I’ve tried 3 of their foundations without ever finding one that I really like (most made me look very greasy, poor coverage and I’d always get some breakouts). After making my own skin care products, finding what oils work for my skin, I’ve discovered that avocado oil doesn’t work for me which most of their foundations contain except for 2nd skin! So I decided to try it and I’m sooo glad I did! Since it only has olive squalene oil in it plus the beautiful, nourishing fruit pigments my skin loves it and even seems softer after. I have dry skin so I really moisturize it beforehand (Shea, beeswax and vit E combination) but I don’t even need powder for this foundation it just naturally mattifies with a very slight silk glow which looks like really healthy skin and you can’t even feel it on your skin! Only need a 3-5 drops to cover your face! It’s not full coverage but I haven’t worn foundation for a while to keep my skin clear as most things tend to break me out but this definitely does not!

Before I talk about this foundation I just want to say how good my first experience with Ecco Verde was- delivery was cheap and very fast.
Now for the product....
I was really desperate to love this product - I suffer from hormonal acne and I have been searching for an age to find a natural foundation without all the chemicals and silicones etc so I could cover my acne without suffocating and clogging my skin, so when I found this I was SO excited! Admittedly my skin was my main reason for buying it, however I also loved the fact that its vegan and ethical - a brilliant bonus.
HOWEVER when it came to performance this foundation was, unfortunately, truly awful. I wasn't expecting amazing things - I knew that the silicones and chemical crap in other foundations are what make them 'good' in terms of performance, so I knew that a 100% natural foundation would only offer limited coverage - but I was not prepared for just how AWFUL the coverage was. It felt so grainy to apply, and once it was on my skin felt SO dry (although I will say it did feel very light and breathable) and the foundation settled like a white powder in every single crease, crevice and dry patch (even ones I didn't know existed!) Now, I'm 23 so I don't have that many creases or crevices and I use a good serum that mostly alleviates dry patches, but wearing this foundation looked like I was ten years older than I am with horribly dry and flakey skin - In the past I have bought a £2.50 value line foundation that worked better for my skin.
I would only recommend this foundation for people with REALLY flawless and naturally hydrated skin.
Unfortunately, this experience has made me realise that you can't have everything with a foundation - if you want a good foundation then you are going to have to accept some of the gunk that comes with it. As an attempt to 'compromise' between good coverage and good ingredients I have started mixing this with my previous toxic foundation - the result is slightly better coverage than 100% pure offers, and less guilt and cakiness than my ordinary foundation by itself. I am happy I finally have found a 100% natural foundation. The texture is very silk like though the consistency is more liquid- ish than for normal foundations. The coverage is thus quite low but this is not an issue in my case. I have ordered peach bisque note and at first I thought it's going to be too dark but it is just perfect. I usually wear sand-like colour. I believe I will keep buying this product and replace the regular products I have as they are 100% made of chemicals.
