Not what I expected...

I wanted an herb that would give my hair a cool blonde shade. I used to use henna, but gradually went back to my mousy medium blonde hair. I missed the benefits of henna - strength, thickness, shine - and started using cassia, which gave me yellow hues that I don't want. I bought both Barberry (crespino) and Katam not knowing which is better. I would have thought that barberry was the one for me, but it did absolutely nothing to my hair :(
