Description
Colouring the hair with henna is one of the oldest colour treatment techniques there is. Compared to conventional colouring treatments, the use of henna is safer and less harmful. Indigo by TEA Natura originates from Indian Fair Trade projects and is free from sodium picramates.
Indigo not only dyes the hair in a natural way but also strengthens and thickens the hair for added volume and shine. With regular use, the scalp is regenerated and strengthened whilst the formation of dandruff is counteracted. The use of henna or indigo is part of daily life in Arabian countries - it is a form of expression. Indigo possesses clarifying properties.
Application:
- Depending on the length of the hair, mix a sufficient portion of henna powder with warm water (about 50°C) until a creamy paste is formed.
- One tsp of salt may be added to the paste to increase the longevity of the colour outcome.
- Let the paste rest for approx. 15 minutes, occasionally stirring the mixture.
- Apply the paste to damp hair.
- Cover the hair with a shower cap and leave it on for 1-2 hours.
- You may heat the hair using a blowdryer during this time. This extends the longevity of the colour.
- Auburn hair will become darker when using this paste and naturally darker hair, such as dark brown to black, will be provided with more radiance.
Note:
- Grey/white hair: For best results, it is recommended to pre-dye the hair with red henna first before using indigo.

actually, this products contains no henna but only indigo, so that's good if you want really dark/black hair. I've done henna first, en then this and i'm very happy with the results, i let the indigo work for 2 hours and now it's very dark brown, and shiny ( i used half a box)
