To be fair, I wasn't expecting magical things since the main reason I bought it was for an after-surgery incision that I knew very well might not heal entirely. Once they removed the stitches, I had to moisture well. It did its job well. I applied it as a nighttime routine on the semi-healed incision; it's a thick cream, takes a long time for the skin to absorb, but generally, when I was using it, it gave a boost. I had no problem keeping the area moisturised. After 3 months with occasional use, my skin smoothed out around the incision. It's still visible and will take much longer to heal entirely, but I do think this cream works and helps. The container is very inconvenient, though, hard to get the product out.
