Solid shampoos are the most eco-friendly alternative to liquid shampoos. The rich formulas are comparable with liquid shampoos that have had water extracted from them. They consist of surfactants, oils, fragrances and colours blended and pressed together. Solid shampoos create the same lather as their liquid counterparts but are more economical. The pH value of solid shampoos is usually adapted to that of the skin.
